External Reviews for Hanna Sauvignon Blanc
Grown at estate vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley, this smooth, smoky sauvignon has citrus scents of orange blossom and orange zest, along with an almond-like nuttiness. For fish baked in salt.
Cool and zesty peach and tangerine flavors pump this wine with ripe fruit. It's not shy about its pyrazines, but they read as an herbal edge rather than pepper. Balanced, bright and long on flavor, this will match seared scallops.
This wine has the Pacific cool of the Russian River Valley and a lovely pearlike flavor. The texture is generous, enriched by lees aging, while the freshness falls between mountain spring water and zesty lime. The impressive contrast of rich and light suggests serving it with river fish, especially fresh-caught trout.
This wine's exotic tropical fruit and litchi flavors are plumped up by aging on the lees. It's warm and peppery, with a green, agave-like character and graphite-edged acidity in the finish. A complex, full and pithy wine to serve with roast pork.
