Add your reviewThis wine has a lush nose of perfumed red flowers and red berry fruit. Nice spice tones as well. Loads of red cherry with good acid on the palate. Some floral tones continue. A pretty, more feminine, sexy style pinot with elegance over power. Nice lingering red berry and spice. - Tasted at Halleck Vineyard Feb 2011
Aromas of cranberry, pomegranate and Bing cherry mixed with spice, white pepper and clove. Nice acid adds bright, high notes. Great structure and nicely moderated oak. Lovely sweet cherry fruit prevails. 3/10/12
This is an unusual Russian River wine. Rather than the standard dark cherry lead-in, it sings of bright red cherry with an equal complement of acid and minerality on the mid-palate with a touch of cumin. The color and nose are equally bright, speaking to higher elevation wines. It has complex spice notes and a finish of light pepper. It is an elegant and feminine wine, but packs a mouthful of flavor.
