Hall Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2005
This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is of the Musque clone, planted at our Napa River Ranch. In the Sauterne-style, we left the fruit on the vines until well over-ripened and harvested them in November at 34.6 Brix. The high sugar content and botrytised quality translate into a wonderful richness and honeyed viscosity.

I'm not really a wine connoisseur per say but I do love my wine. I've had this bottle twice now and have decided that I really do like it. Its quite characteristic of Californian wines, in my opinion. It's not exactly fruity though it tastes fresh. It drinks easy and leaves a smooth feel to your palate. It's light enough that you can drink several bottles in an evening- definitely a crowd pleaser, safe for dinner parties and guests I think.
