Hall Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2009
Wonderful wine. Balanced robust red, very smooth. Delicious when served with filet mignon.

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon makes a good introduction to the house style. Layers of expressive dark red fruit, flowers, licorice and mint are nicely woven into an expressive, textured style that is very appealing. Anticipated maturity: 2011ndash;2017.

Aromas of blackberry, cassis, spices and rich dark chocolate from the glass. Both dense and opulent in texture, the perfect platform for brawny black and briar fruit flavors that persist through the velvety, enduring finish.
Bright red-ruby. Expressive, open-knit aromas of currant and chocolate. Supple and sweet but a bit simple today, with dark fruit, chocolate and earth flavors showing good thickness and intensity but in need of more energy. Finishes a tad herbal, with substantial gritty, tongue-staining tannins.
