Aromas of tropical fruit, melons and apples from the Chardonnay fruit, as well as vanilla from the new French oak and a hint of butter from the fermentation are forward in the nose. The flavors closely follow the nose, with a crisp acid balance and a clean finish that invites taste after taste. This wine will pair well with poultry, seafood, pork and veal. I tasted this wine with an Oriental dish at home and it was quite tasty. With crisp acidity, this wine will stand well on its own as a refreshing beverage.
