Smooth, mellow, medium-bodied red, something like a Rioja. Great with the Greek meats and cheeses we were eating.
- The nose reminds me of plastic, but is still intriguing. - Medium body - I'd serve this as a table wine - I tried it at Dafni Greek Taverna in Times Square, NYC. This wine showed pretty poorly at a recent tasting - the fruit and tannin could barely stand up to the alcohol and that was listed as only 12.5 %. Fun wine if you're in the Greek Islands, but so much better out there for the price.
