Ha Sod Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Kosher 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Rich in flavor with aromas of blackcurrant, plums, and jam notes. Kosher for Passover. 'Sod' in ancient Hebrew means secret. As the sages explain, each letter has a corresponding number. 'Sod' has the same numerical value as the word for wine, 'Yain'.

Yarden:
Yarden is a brand of Kosher wines produced in the Golan Heights region of Israel. Yarden is the flagship brand, named for the Jordan River and depicting the symbol of ancient Israel, a tiled oil lamp. Yarden also includes the Golan line of value-driven, every day economy wines as well as the Gamla line and the Galil Mountain Winery line. The latter is a joint venture of Golan Heights Winery and Kibbutz Yiron.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
