Great value! Earthy and chocolatey and holds its own in boldness with more expensive cabs.

p.s. Apparently I'm not the only one! I liked it even better the second day, and went back to my local world market, where they were sold out and said they wouldn't have it again, bec. their supplier was out! I got it elsewhere, but I guess there was a rush!

W&S 91 - WS 89Pts - Tasting Notes - A bold medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon delivers aromas of cherry blossoms and rose petals, with a perfect balance of earth, mineral and deep berry flavors, and a soft tannin finish.

A veritable bargain, I can find this in the Puget Sound region for just a hair under $15 a bottle.

I know it's H3...but really it should be all about C4...
Cocoa, Cassis, and robustly dark Cherries with a hint of Cedar. A full-bodied and very exciting Cab that will surprise you for the pricetag.

'06 was an outstanding year for Washington Cabs and the H3 might just be the star of the show.

In early '07 this was excellent, by late '08 the dark mocha characteristics began to shine through.

This Cab completely killed a grilled read more...

Rating: 91/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 06/09 This has satisfying savory aromas of tree bark, tobacco and sun-dried tomato to complement the dark, plummy fruit. There's enough of a red tinge to that fruit to give the wine freshness and energy. A steal of a cab and a great choice for grilled short ribs.
