Food Pairings for Gustafson Family Vineyards Petite Sirah Dry Creek Valley
This first vintage of Petite Sirah was a winemaker´s dream when it arrived at the winery, perfectly ripe fruit with full flavors and excellent color. After a smooth fermentation the wine was barrel aged in French oak for 21 months.
This fruit-forward Petite Sirah is full bodied with well-structured tannins and flavors of dark fruit, leather and chocolate. It has moderate alcohol for a Petite Sirah and will pair well with many foods, including beef short ribs, barbeque, and other full-bodied meat dishes.
