What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

The rich color introduces you to a nose filled with black cassis, blueberry, blackberry, cinnamon, anise, licorice, leather and dark cherries. Broad, full bodied structure fills your mouth and adds hints of coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco and black cassis. The integrated tannins allow for a smooth and lingering finish that tastes great now and will continue to improve with age. Optimal cellaring five to 10 years from vintage.

The vineyard for this wine, while owned by GunBun, is far from the property in the Mayacamas Mountains. This is more of a ripe style than the estate cab. Very nice wine.
