Gunderloch Riesling Kabinett "Jean Baptiste" 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

Gunderloch Riesling Kabinett "Jean Baptiste" 2012 is a lively German white that offers lovely fruit, floral and mineral aromas on the nose. On the palate, delicious fruit, citrus and honey flavors with a refreshing finish."Features a racy edge to the apple, green peach and citrus flavors. This is lithe and fresh-tasting. Crisp acidity lends zesty purity and verve to the finish." -KM, Wine Spectator (90 Points)

Gunderloch:
Our great - great grandfather, Carl Gunderloch, a banker from Mainz, founded the Gunderloch estate in 1890. He bought excellent grand cru vineyard sites, NACKENHEIM ROTHENBERG, and became one of the pioneers of quality wine making on the Rhine River. Agnes and Fritz Hasselbach have been managing the 30 acres of vineyards in Nackenheim and Nierstein since 1979 and are the fifth generation owners.
