Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. Attractive elements of green figs, melons and candied pears are teamed with a fair dose of varietal grassiness in both the slow-to-unfold aromas and richer-than-expected flavors of this deep, well-ripened Sauvignon. It is a bit fuller than most and not one we would pick for service with simple shellfish, but its richness and generous fruit make it well-suited to meal-time matching with savory poultry dishes.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
