Vintage: 2004 01/19/2009

Offering up slightly musky, gamey soil driven fruit tones edged with a touch of white pepper, this was surprising at this price point. Restrained, cool climate aromatics lead to a fresh, easy drinking palate with really good acid cut and admirable purity to the fresh plum and dark berry flavors. Not complicated but not confected either, this offers solid, straight forward, easy drinking enjoyment.

Vintage: 2004 01/18/2009

Wine Tasting Notes Deep crimson red. Very forthcoming on the nose. Fruit aromas of plum and blackcurrant. Cinnamon, spices and a minerality add to this amazing bouquet. The spiciness carries through onto the palate. Luscious berry flavors, notably cherry, dominate the palate, with gentle mocha undertones. Rich and expressive, this wine has presence. A full-bodied Shiraz, it displays good integration between fruit and wood, and its lingering finish suggests it to be a rewarding wine for drinking and enjoying with food.
