BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin) BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO, great history of Italian wine, of class even from its noble origins. The area of Montalcino is certainly one of the most ideal zones for Italian wine production and it is our pride and pleasure to be able to present a wine with this tradition and complexity. A long history of Italian culture, the love for the Tuscan soil, and the development and care in production have created one of the best wines in Italy – the Brunello. Production Zone: Montalcino Grape Varietal: 100 % Sangiovese grosso Minimum Alc. by vol: 13 - 14 % vol. Minimum Aging: at least 3 years in large barrels and 2 years in the bottle Fermentation: 20 - 25 days in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 28°/30°C (82°/86°F) Age for tasting: no sooner than 5 years Tasting Temperature: 20-22° C (68-72° F) Color: intense garnet Bouquet: intense and very persistent, ripe fruits and spices, clear tones of cinnamon and vanilla, full-bodied and generous Taste: full of smooth tannins, harmonious, structured, velvety with a pleasant persistence and complex harmony Suggestions: uncork bottle 1 hour before serving Food pairings: roasts, wild game, aged and sharp cheeses, a meditation wine to be drunk in company
