Only the best parcels of fruit are earmarked for the Grove Mill label Sauvignon. Fermentation is carefully temperature controlled in order to maximise the intense fruit flavours. The majority of the wine is kept on yeast lees prior to blending and bottling. This results in an elegant blend of tropical overtones, passionfruit and gooseberries with hints of herbal notes. This is a full bodied wine with a balanced structure and a crisp, clean finish. Intense flavours of pineapple, grapefruit, white peach and gooseberry set this wine apart from more generic New Zealand Sauvignons.
