User Reviews for Grove Mill Riesling Marlborough

Winemaker's Notes:

Grove Mill’s Rieslings aim for purity, clarity and texture, showcasing our Marlborough fruit. The 2005 vintage is another deliciously aromatic Grove Mill Riesling, made in a vibrant style. Bouquet: Intense citrus and floral aromas, including orange and lime blossom Palate: Quince, mandarin and passionfruit flavours with a hint of ginger. This wine is intensely flavoured and attractively balanced. Vinification The grape juice underwent a slow, temperature controlled ferment in stainless steel, to maximise the wine aromas. The wine was tasted regularly in order to determine when to stop fermentation for the desired sugar to acid balance. Bottled: August 2005 Alcohol: 12.5 % Titratable Acid: 8.5 g/L Residual Sugar: 15.8 g/L pH: 2.94 Style: Just off-dry Food Matches Grove Mill Riesling is deliciously drinkable on its own or with a wide range of cuisine. It is excellent paired with Thai fare, whilst also partnering well with chilli, mandarin infused oil and fresh ginger dishes, salmon, prawns, scallops and calamari.
