Groth Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Lush, full melon/citrus character in the aroma and in the flavor. The cooler Napa Valley fruit provides a solid, crisp backbone that gives the wine an exciting liveliness that balances the rich creaminess from "sur lie" aging. The blend of the two elements results in a harmonious wine that matches well with all types of cuisine.

This is one of our favorite wines. My wife and I love this wine for those times we want to simply sit and have a couple of glasses. Particularly given the price point, it's hard to beat. It has a rich, full flavor, without being overwhelming.
We found this wine to have a very weak nose and very strong citrus/grapefruit flavors. It seemed like a good wine to drink very well chilled on very hot days. As it warmed it felt like a much heavier wine.

Grown in a cooler microclimate of Napa Valley, this Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing with aromas of melon and citrus. A richness results from aging on its lees. Drink on its own or with many different types of fare.
A Sauvignon Blanc wine from California in USA. 2008 Groth Sauvignon Blanc 750ml
Our 2008 Sauvignon Blanc was produced from grapes grown in various microclimates of the Napa Valley. The warmer Napa Valley microclimates give us grapes that result in wines with a lush, full melon/citrus character in the aroma and in the flavor. The cooler Napa Valley fruit provides a solid, crisp backbone that gives the wine an exciting liveliness that balances the rich creaminess from "sur lie" aging. - Winery
