Grizzly Republic Gypsy Noir Paso Robles 2008
Very deep, concentrated (my tasting note says, "deep ass berry") flavors, with some bright acidity and cocoa. Think chocolate covered sour cherries. A bit of vanilla also. Very fun. Can see this being a terrific BBQ or burger wine.Add winemaker's notes
The vineyards are selected not by where they are, but what is planted in the soil. Harvesting decisions are the critical component of winemaking; each vineyard block is monitored; with each varietal having been chosen from specific terroir for a purpose. We select vineyards all across California and strive to achieve a sustainable harvest with each of our vignerons.

A smokey Pinot with some bacony flavors.
