Grgich Hills Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 1990

Winemaker's Notes:

91 points American Wine Review: Not only is one greeted by a big, intense and complex bouquet, but it is equally big on the palate, its most notable feature being punctuated by resolute acidity enveloped by elegance and finesse. There is extraordinary balance, plenty of fruit, firm but gentle tannin, multiple layers of spice and leather, and enough backbone to last another ten years. (5/1/95)
