Grgic Plavac Mali Dingac 1997

Winemaker's Notes:

The Grgić Vina winery was started in 1996 by a native Croatian winemaker who had traveled the globe and founded numerous wineries. To a rural home of traditional wine, he brought modern techniques from the all over the world, like France and mainly the Napa Valley. Classic-tasting wines with a modern twist.

Plavac Mali has a medium, ruby color with purple highlights. It is a hearty, robust wine with concentrated aromas of plum and black cherry. Additional dark fruit flavors and earthy notes can be found on the palate. The tannins are strong but sweet, oak is well integrated, and the overall balance is excellent.
