What to Expect

Syrah: One of the few grapes to really be a global success. Syrah combines a meaty core of ripe berry fruit with tones that range from herbal to peppery in a package that tends to be medium bodied with good acidity and softer tannins. Reviews

Had this at a churrascaria restaurant where I once again had the unpleasant experience of paying $10/glass for a $10 bottle of vino. Although I enjoyed this with my dinner, it did not make a unique impression on me. For me, it was the run of the mill fruit-forward Aussie shiraz, which I love anyway. A little pepper and slight vanilla, astringent at the end. For the price, I really don't mind it, but not excited about it either.
