Food Pairings for Greg Norman Cabernet/Merlot
this lower-end cab merlot blend is 14%Abv holds a deep purple colour and has rich dark fruit smells of cherries and black berries and basement funk as well as very light oak. to the taste this wine has a high acidity as it is quite young especially for a red. med-full tannins that are quite smooth and fully rounded. short-medium finish that is off dry. this wine would age exceptionally well!!! would pair excellent with a nice winter braise or a succulent prime rib. 70 Grapes...
Bright ruby red in color. Vibrant and complex aromas of spicy, red berry fruit, red currant, sweet cherry and cranberries, with leafy black currant fruit, cinnamon and clove spice. The same abundant, vibrant fruit is reflected on the palate, which also shows a hint of licorice, sweet cinnamon spice, and subtle French oak. The wine is beautifully structured with soft, velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and abundant, bright, sweet flavors on the finish.
