Green Point Shiraz 2004
Blending the regional characteristics from some of Victoria's premium Shiraz districts has created a complex and balanced Shiraz. The pepper and spice of Yarra Valley meshes wonderfully with the sweeter and supple dark berry flavours from Heathcote and Rutherglen. Overall an excellent example of Victorian Shiraz.
Green Point was established by the Champagne house Moët & Chandon over 20 years ago in the Yarra Valley, in the southeastern state of Victoria. Cool ocean breezes create ideal conditions for the grapes to develop ripe fruit flavors, while retaining their elegance, finesse, and complexity.

This is a nice smooth wine. It warms your chest without burning. Aj says its gulpable!
Heavy smells of blackberry and pepper. Deep reddish purple color. Slightly sweet yet very dry. This wine compliments apple smoked cheddar cheese to a mild degree. I have found that this wine is much better than expected.
