The vibrant aromatics of the Green Point Reserve Chardonnay call to mind fresh nectarines and grapefruit pith. Nutty and mealy flavours, derived from fermentation and maturation in the finest French oak, add depth and warmth on the palate. Food pairing - ideally suited to Lobster Thermidor, lightly smoked white meat, crab risotto.
Green Point was established by the Champagne house Moët & Chandon over 20 years ago in the Yarra Valley, in the southeastern state of Victoria. Cool ocean breezes create ideal conditions for the grapes to develop ripe fruit flavors, while retaining their elegance, finesse, and complexity.

Wine Tasting NotesThe Green Point Reserve Yarra Valley Chardonnay is a light straw color with lime tints. The wine has a fragrant aroma of grapefruit rind, white peach and green pear that are enhanced by subtle yet complex cashew nut and spice aromas derived from barrel fermentation. The judicious use of lees-stirring, solids fermentation and malolactic fermentation enhances the mouthfeel of the wine and extended maturation in fine-grained French oak barriques adds structure and length to the back palate. The finish is long, lingering and crisp.
