Grande Cuvee 1531 Rose Cremant de Limoux NV

Winemaker's Notes:

*Gold Medal - Best in Class, Los Angeles International Wine Competition 2013* *Silver Medal - Los Angeles International Wine Competition 2012* *Gold - Mundus Vini 2010* A sparkling, salmon pink gem from the south of France. Limoux is the oldest sparkling wine producing region in the world, and this cuvee is produced according to a rigorous terroir selection in the Limoux Appellation. Despite being located in the sunny Languedoc, these vineyards are cooled by Atlantic winds and the Pyrenees. This unique climate means the grapes can spend a longer time ripening on the vine, and developing deliciously complex flavours. Lively on the tongue with a lingering sparkle, this award-winning wine has aromas of strawberries and raspberries with a well-balanced palate between acidity and fruit. Long and memorable on the finish, you'll be left with notes of pear, nectarine and toasted bread.
