- A great semi-dry blend of Merlot, Shiraz, and Zinfandel. Neither Shiraz nor Zin grows well in Ohio, so they are brought in from California. Merlot used is GRV Merlot. Medium-bodied red that contains a lot of flavor and aroma based on the Zinfandel and Shiraz – spicy, smoky, tobacco, plum, berries. I suggest pairing this wine with many types of grilled or smoked foods. Also makes great Sangria.
