The 2013 Grand-Puy-Lacoste is ready to roll now; the nose is of blackberry, vanilla and smoke (from oak barrels), and the entry is has the slightest pucker and oak flavour, but is smooth and perfect for red meat dishes, with a bit of lead pencil on the palet. Finish is quite long for the vintage. Delicious, but drink now through 2018. 89-90.
