Dichte kirschrote Farbe.
Editorial Reviews for Granato
A classic expression of Teroldego on the nose with mineral driven, tarry, animale (-) black fruit tones. This gains a touch of floral and apricot like fruit though it smells a touch woody, as well. Really fine and precise in the mouth with mineral tones right up front, juicy berry fruit on the mid-palate, and a fresh finish that does show a touch of heat but remains brisk and long with a touch of plum skin. 91pts

The 2006 Granato further establishes Foradori as one of Italy's premier winemakers. This is a stunning red from start to finish. The wine bursts onto the palate with a never-ending kaleidoscope of dried roses, spices, pomegranate and raspberries. This medium to full-bodied Granato possesses stunning balance and finessed, elegant tannins that caress the palate with notable elegance. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2021. Shows wonderful aromas of raspberry and cut flowers, with a hint of tar. Full-bodied, with supervelvety tannins, a beautiful core of fruit and a long, long finish. Rich and powerful, yet wonderfully textured. Best after 2011. 3,500 cases made. -JS
Super dark purple, almost black, opaque with full intensity. A perfume of black cherry and cassis with pulverized limestone lifts from the glass. The palate copies the nose of this precise, well-made Teroldego, with excellent concentration of black ... Andy Frieden. A Teroldego wine from Trentino Alto Adige in Italy. 2006 Foradori Granato 375ml
