Something about this bottle tonight... i've always enjoyed it but this bottle in particular excelled. On the nose, linzer tart, dark plum, mocha and clove. Followed by a full and rich performance on the palate. Flavors of blackberry and cherry with a hint of beef stock and pepper. Brisk italian acidity and a Moderately long finish.

A dark purple color with aromas of raspberry fruit, violets, licorice and peppery spice cookies. Blackberry and plum fruit on the palette with vanilla but fresh and at the same time velvety smooth. Medium finish. Very impressive for it's olfactory presentation and finesse on the palette.
