Warm nose with light, attractive oak, red cherries and wild strawberries. Smooth, velvety, mouth filling cherry fruit with firm tannins and a gutsy, rustic finish. Forthright and Spanish/Catalan in style. Exceptional value.
Good full red. Complex if slightly reduced aromas of raspberry, bacon fat, spices and meat, with a hint of surmaturiteacute;. Superripe and sweet, with liqueur-like red fruits and spices; a bit roasted but decent acidity gives definition to the flavors. Firmly structured and spicy on the back.
