Grahams Port Lbv 2007
External Reviews for Grahams Port Lbv
Flavors of blackberry jam have some graphite notes, as well as plenty of chocolaty accents. The supple finish is fruity, with hints of smoke and an alluring silkiness. Drink now through 2020.
Blackberries, licorice, and melted asphalt stand out in this full-bodied, beautifully made vintage port's moderately intense bouquet. It is not one of the great Graham's ports, and is less sweet than normal, but it is full-bodied, rich, concentrated, and impressive
GRAHAM’S 2007 Late Bottled Vintage has a deep ruby colour. ON THE NOSE, rich perfumed, packed with red and black fruits of the forest. ON THE PALATE, sweet and bursting of flavours of black berries and black currants balanced by a backbone of firm tannins. With a long and lingering velvety smooth finish. FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTION AND SERVING: pairs wonderfully with chocolate desserts and hard cheeses like mature Cheddar or even a goat’s cheese.
