Graham Beck the Joshua Shiraz Viognier 2011

Member Review by RIWineGuy:

Sight: Clear, day bright, ruby, heavy concentration, no gas, sediment or particulate, medium viscosity. Nose: Clean, high intensity, new world, dark berry and dark tree fruit-blackberry, stewed prune, baked black razzberry. Dried leaves, smoke, chocolate, bramble and wet earth, oak. Pallete: Dry, med+ body, fruit is confirmed from nose, earth confirmed, aged in oak, med tannin, med + alcohol, med acid, long finish, moderate complexity. Im thinking it was like excelent lots of fruit flavors and wonderfull structure. It had a very earthy tone mixed in with the dark fruit that i found quite rustic.

This unique blend reveals spiciness, hints of violets and liquorice flavours.
