Winemaker's Notes:

Graham Beck is a giant of the South African wine scene and has led the country's thundering success since the end of Apartheid in 1994, a year that saw Nelson Mandela toast his inauguration as President with a flute of Beck's Brut NV. Fizz remains a key part of the Beck portfolio and the sparkling wines are rightly recognised as among the best in the New World. Based in Robertson, a second cellar in Franschhoek has been built to further extend the company's potential. Pieter 'Bubbles' Ferreira retains overall control of the winemaking with the talented Erika Obermeyer and Irene Waller heading up the Franschhoek and Robertson wineries respectively. At Graham Beck Wines, winemaking is a combination of creative mediation (between unpredictable Mother Nature and volatile modern technology) and the expression of their passion for the perfection of their wines. This juicy rosé is a blend of Malbec/Sangiovese with the trellised Malbec vineyard planted on table mountain sandstone in Franschhoek and the Sangiovese planted in deep well drained red clay/lime soil in Robertson. A vibrant, fruity wine with a lively coral pink hue; a bouquet of seductive rose petal delivering a delightful sensation of raspberry and cherry flavours on the nose with hints of candyfloss on the palate and a sophisticated dry finish. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif or with light summer salads; display with pride on your al fresco table or pack it with a smile into your picnic basket.
