Reviews

Liquid silk made of the darkest red fruit. Supple, smokey and smooth with all the characteristics of a far more expensive wine.

Great complexity of black berry fruit and cassis on the nose, which is well supported by spicy mineral and cigar box flavours. This wine has a rich, juicy and intense palate with a long lingering finish. Great with rich spicy meat dishes, barbeques, venison or with strong cheeses at the end of a dinner. Aged 9 months in French and American oak.

Nose: Smoky leather, tobacco, sour black cherries

Taste: Initial sour cherries and white asparagus leads to a burst of fruit and black licorice on the mid-palate, firm tannins on the finish that coats your mouth that handles the alcohol well. Good structure, finish lingers well over a minute.

Pair with: steak, aged cheeses, mushrooms.
