Editorial Reviews for Graffigna Pinot Grigio Centenario White
Bright and juicy on the nose with intense pear fruit, some dried lime peel and a dusty mineral note. Crisp with plenty of acid on the palate accenting the bitter apple and citrus fruit flavors. This shows a very vibrant character on the palate with a gently sweet shading to the fruit. The finish is a bit short and steely making this a good choice for shellfish and other light dishes. 85pts

Add your reviewLight peach and green plum in the bouquet, and a warm feel on the palate; it’s on the watery side rather than the syrupy side of the viscosity scale, a bit rustic but still tasty. (AV 85, http://argovino.com/?p=561)
Even though everyone knows that Argentinian Pinot Grigio is the best in the world (sic) this is by far the least interesting. I can't believe I am saying this but it could have used from oak. It tastes like it was stored for a century in steel containers.
Very interesting. Soft like a viognier but lots of alcohol heat. Paired this with a shrimp caesar salad.
Bought this while picking up the Graffigna Centenario Reserve 2008 Malbec. While not absolutely amazing, this is worth the price. I like it. Taste is balanced lemon/pear, medium-light bodied, and balanced acidity.

Pale color. Subtly complex aromas of orange, lemon, butter and flowers. Bright, juicy and quite dry, with good intensity to the citrus and spice flavors. Should make a flexible food wine.
Elegance, jasmine bouquet and the appearance of peach and apricot. Very fresh, with a young palate, subtly fruity and floral. Harmonious and refined, with a very pleasant finish. Due to this variety's reduced and covoted growth, it is produced in controlled amounts.

Winemaker's Notes:
WINEMAKING To ensure optimal quality of this 100% Pinot Grigio, all the grapes were picked by hand and harvesting was done in the early hours of the morning, when the temperature is cool. The grapes were then carried from the vineyards in small crates where they remained until they reached the press, in order to avoid crushing. After harvest, the Pinot Grigio grapes were gently pressed at low temperatures in order to obtain the clean, bright yellow juice that is characteristic of this variety, as well as maintain its delicate aromas. Following fermentation in 100% stainless steel tanks, malo-lactic fermentation was inhibited and no oak ageing was used. The result is a very harmonious, fresh and crisp wine, full of floral and citrus notes.
Tasting Notes:
Color: light yellow with delicate greenish hues. Aroma: subtle floral aromas with notes of jasmine and hints of white fruits like peaches and apricot. Palate: fresh, young, with delicate, yet surprising fruit flavors and a refined finish.
