Graff Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Spätlese 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region with its steep south facing slopes and the stony slate soil provides the perfect microclimate for the Riesling grape.

Full-flavored, nice balance of sweetness and acidity. Grape, apple and tangerine flavors, maybe a bit of pineapple. Would definitely buy again!

This Riesling Spatlese reflects the unique feature of this region, the slate soil. The apple andcitrus flavors are balanced with a unique minerality and a crisp acidity.
