Winemaker's Notes:

Winemaker: Luis Barraud. 30% of the wine was barrel aged for 8 months in new Mercier French oak barrels. 92 year old vineyard. Deep ruby red wine. Touches of ripe cherries, plums and morello cherries are perceived in the nose. With excellent concentration, the palate almost turns creamy, with additional intense flavors of red fruits and a touch of vanilla. Tannins are surprisingly soft given the wine's youthful age.
