Winemaker comments:
Dark ruby with a black cherry cast with aromas of rose and dried herbs along with a touch of coffee. The mouth is dense, powerful and fruit driven, and shows exceptional balance. The finish is smooth, supple, and sophisticated with loads of berry flavors and a gentle hint of oak. This wine, with great balance and fruit, is soft enough to drink now, yet structured enough to age for the next few years.

This is a monster cab! We had this after a very nice Irony Cab and the contrast was surprising. The Gordon Cab was superior, with more complexity and an amazing nose. It has lots of black fruit, controlled tannins and a very long finish. It is very fruit-forward but not overly jammy. Outstanding value.

The nose is greeted with warm aromas of cedar, seductive spices and chocolate, along with dark fruit. This full-bodied, rich wine has a velvety mouth-feel with flavors of black currant, anise and cherry. The wine is very well balanced with respect to both acids and tannins. Enjoy the lingering finish. Pair this wine with grilled red meats, sausages and strong cheeses. For a sensory delight, try it with a dark chocolate truffle or molten lava cake.
