Harvest in 2004 began in mid-August and finished approximately six weeks later in the Goldeneye vineyards. The fruit that goes into this wine is the best produced from all 7 vineyards. Showing bright cherry and delicate herb on the nose. The palate is smooth and balanced, blackberry, cherry and cinnamon weave their way throughout.

($52) Medium red. Aromas of spicy raspberry, strawberry and cherry skin. Round, ripe and easygoing, with red fruit flavors complemented by soil tones of mocha and underbrush. Finishes with sweet, slightly dusty tannins.

Goldeneye Pinot Noir Anderson Valley This full-bodied wine has lofty weight yet the wine is supple, elegant and well-balanced. The aroma is inviting with notes of leaf tobacco, mushroom, forest floor, leather, and cinnamon. The flavors are dominated by blueberry, plum, blackberry, and a medley of spices, including clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
