Glenora Riesling 2011

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

A floral nose gives way to a superb wine. Sweet, but well balanced with a nice acidity, this Riesling is loaded with peach, nectarine and a little bit of apple. A nice minerality in the background makes this wine a bit more complex than a lot of others. Great with seafood, Mexican, or Asian; I like to pair it with tofu tacos and salsa verde on a hot summer’s day.

Fragrant yellow and purple flowers on the nose and palate of this medium-sweet Riesling add a subtle perfume to all of the ripe, luscious white-peach and nectarine flavors. Hints of wet stone and lime-like acidity lend a crisp, tonic tone to the midpalate, extending onto the long, lingering finish.
