- The finest red in this portfolio is the 2004 Shiraz Dry Bore, which was aged 24 months in a combination of new and old French and American 300 liter hogsheads. This full-bodied Shiraz exhibits a beautiful texture as well as loads of blackberry and cassis fruit with hints of pepper and chocolate. Dense and chewy, it is best consumed over the next 5-6 years. - Wine Advocate

- Tasted this and 2004 Two Hands Angels Share on same day. the Glen Eldon Shiraz is one tablespoon below the Two Hands on the glasses scale. Peppery and powerful, fruity and forward, ready to drink, and a great price. An excellent effort.

- If Barossa Valley has a subtle bore in its body - or bore - it might be found in this wine. Otherwise clean, this slightly earthy Shiraz is slightly murky, and has a fine light nose.
