That cellar stands today and serves as both a literal and figurative link to the past and Laurent's guiding principles of quality and values. In 1978, Bruce Markham, a California businessman with a passion for wine, purchased the old winery and launched Markham Vineyards, the parent of Glass Mountain Wines. From the beginning, Bruce Markham's vision was to make quality wines, while contributing to the preservation and growth of the wine industry. As a result, The Markham Winery has developed a reputation of high regard as a producer of world-class wines. This second label is a great value from Markham Winery, which has a long-standing tradition of offering quality wines at fair prices. The nose has cedar and plum; flavors are blackberry and caramel. There is a silky mouthfeel that is extremely well balanced. It finishes soft and simple for a great by-the-glass special.

Crafter by Markham's winemaking team, Glass Mountain wines focus on rich, pure flavors of California's best vineyards. This Glass Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon delivers ripe blackberry and plum flavors. Aromas of cocoa, toasty oak and anise highlight this wine's classic Cabernet structure.
