- This has a great fall seasonal aspect to it. Mixing in some candied elements such as candied apples, jelly bellys and a pinch of sour cherry... Givich ups the ante by tossing in a little woody spice component which keeps you feeling cozy while the temperature slowly sinks lower and lower throughout the oncoming seasons.

- I had to come back to this a few times, it presented many layers to be unraveled, and this is a very appealing quality of a Zin. My palate was challenged by the almost sour tart astringent characteristic on the front palate which transformed to an almost bark dust sod (earth) component through the finish. Without the balance of these two flavors, this wine would fall short. These two competing components add to this wine's overall excellence. I thoroughly enjoyed the "taste experience" this wine had to offer and recommend it to anyone looking to expand their palate.

- ...if you intend to dress up this Halloween and hit the neighborhood for goodies, start the evening out with a little of this candy-licious Zin! This wine sports a beautiful ruby color, a SweetTart aroma, and flavors of Maraschino Cherry and candied apples. You'll wish your neighbors had stocked up on this one!

- Not sure if you have ever seen one, but it is the prettiest pinky colored ruby you have seen. . . and that is exactly the color of this wine. It smells of tart, chocolate covered cherries and I love that it starts out on the palate with that same tart cherry note. As sweet as it may seem up front it mellows out with a hint of sod on the mid palate and follows up with something reminiscent of your mother's spice rack. This finish is as smooth and lovely as it's start.
