Big and slightly pruny on the nose with very ripe roasted/roasted herb notes. Sweet and full in the mouth with slightly jammy fruit that none-the-less remains very precise. Finishes long and with trademark lush, clean fruit.

Made in the classic Barolo style, this wine is ready and willing to age for many years to come. Its spiced, floral aromas and bold fruit are already showing extraordinarily well, owing to the terrific conditions in 2001. Drink it now, or hold it for a few decades.
