User Reviews for Giovanni Sordo Barolo

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine: "Garnet red with orange tones more obvious over the years; delicate, ethereal, intense, large and persistent; taste warm, full, complex, dry and harmonious. The wine's austerity is related to the presence of tannins, sweet and complex." - Winery Winemaking/Maturation: "The grapes are picked fully ripe and undergo a rigorous selection, the wine-making are started immediately on their arrival in the cellar. The fermentation, submerged cap, according to tradition, is extended for two or three weeks at a temperature of 29-30 degrees C." "Mature for two years in traditional oak barrels of medium capacity and is aged for at least a year in bottle before being put on sale." - Winery
