What to Expect

Nebbiolo is a fickle grape famed as much for its pale appearance as for its tannic character and produces some of the most perfumed and richly flavored wines. Though generally only medium-bodied, the wines possess rose and anise scented aromatics and deep flavors of cherry, orange peel and subtle green herb tones.

AWE blind tasting - deep and pungent with earthy, minerally dark cherry fruit, a hint of wood, but precise and focused, nice tension in the mouth, a bit of dilution but still well concentrated and balanced with a hint of elegance, in a rustic style, lovely green citrus fruit tones and tarry add depth and complexity, fine and intense with a good finish that features spice, mineral and aromatic wood tones 90-91
