Clear medium-depth garnet red colour with brown reflections. In the nose red berried fruit over a discrete vanilla background with some leather notes. Aromas are low to moderate in intensity. Dry, medium to full-bodied in the mouth, tannins and acidity seem to be in balance. I wouldn't say the same for alcohol which is clearly prevalent over them. Strong acidity and low and soft tannins (typical of the varietal) and a short finish. Flavours are also reminiscent of red berried fruit, but are much less present comparing to the aromas. A simple wine for everyday drinking. Maybe it's best days have gone by. Does not benefit at all from decanting

Ruby red in color, thin legs. Fruity aroma, hints of berries, plumb, with a subtle hint of orange. Crisp and refreshing, dry, and light. Very tasty. Had it with dinner, your atypical lasagna.
