Ginirsquo;s 2009 Soave Classico is especially round in this vintage. An expressive, floral bouquet leads to peaches, apricots and spices in this soft, engaging Soave. Anticipated maturity: 2012ndash;2014.

Ginirsquo;s 2001 Soave Classico is an elegant, fresh effort with notes of grapefruit, minerals, citrus, and a hint of almonds. Light-bodied and refreshing, this disarmingly zesty 2001 should be consumed over the next 12 months.

Ginirsquo;s 2008 Soave Classico is simply delicious. This generous, soft Soave possesses excellent balance and tons of personality in its lightly perfumed, honeyed apricots. Year in year out, this is one of the finest values in Italian white wine. Anticipated maturity: 2009ndash;2011.

The 2006 Soave Classico reveals a gorgeous nose along with crisp green apples on a soft-textured frame, showing excellent length and a lingering note of sweetness on the finish. Three months of aging on the lees helps give this wine an attractive richness. I have often chosen Ginirsquo;s Soave as a house wine as it is a terrific value. Anticipated maturity: 2007ndash;2008. Gini produces excellent Soaves in a generous, fruity, easy-going style. Most of the Soaves are made with 100% Garganega and the estatersquo;s top selections are made from old-vine fruit.

A pretty Soave, with clean lemon, light honey and blanched almond aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied and silky, with a clean, fresh finish that lingers. This doesnrsquo;t push, but itrsquo;s intense and well-balanced. Drink now.

Soave Classico proves to be a fresh and easy-going expression of the Garganega grape. The wine would pair with grilled vegetables or chicken salad. Peach, melon and honey flavors linger long on the palate.
