Gimonnet et Fils Pierre Fleuron Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne Blend Wine 2005

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

(made from fruit grown in Chouilly Cuis Cramant and Oger; disgorged July 8 2011): Light gold. Fragrant spice-accented bouquet evokes fresh orchard fruits lemon curd honeysuckle and minerals plus a hint of spiciness. Juicy and precise in the mouth with very good depth to its spicy pear and citrus flavors. The mineral note comes on strong on the finish which shows good clarity and tangy persistence. -Josh Raynolds Stephen Tanzers IWC.

Pierre Morey:
The total area of the domaine is 11 hectares, distributed in different parcels located in the districts of Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and, of course Meursault. All the vineyards were cultivated following organic agricultural practices from 1992 to 1997, at the end of this period the domaine became 100% biodynamic.
