In the 1970’s Carlo Pellegrino was the first to market a range of wines produced from native grape varietals and they have continued to seek the individualism and character of the true wines of Sicily. This strategy is now paying dividends, as people tire of the classic varietals, they are coming to respect traditional wines from Sicily. What customers are also finding, to their benefit, is that Sicilian wines offer fantastic value for money. The winery benefits from ISO 9002 and is BRC listed. Grapes : 100% Zibibbo Region : Italy / Sicily / Sicilia IGP Maker : Gaspare Catalano Notes : The moscato grape is called Zibibbo in Sicily and this great example is dry, aromatic and fresh with an intense nose of citrus fruits, peaches and jasmine. Serve : Chilled as an aperitif or with hors d'oeuvres and fish dishes. ABV : 13% Suitable for Vegetarians
